Hong Kong: Ibis Hotel revisited.

The last time I stayed at the Ibis Hotel in Northpoint, Hong Kong, was in January 2011. On a trip to Hong Kong this month, I stayed at the same hotel and was given a room on the 31st floor, the highest floor of the hotel.

The room was smaller than the one I stayed in back in 2011, if you can actually imagine that but I got a spectacular view of the harbour!

That is more or less the size of the room. No kidding!

Northpoint Star Ferry Terminal and an expressway in the foreground with the lights of Kowloon in the background.
In the morning, we can see the new Kai Tak Cruise Terminal in the distance with a ship from Star Cruise berthed. This is the new cruise terminal that is built on the grounds of the old Kai Tak Airport.

In case you are interested, the same room in the morning. Bright and cheerful!

The hotel also has free WiFi this time round. I had to pay for 3 hourly access the last time. This is a big improvement without any increase in rates. Thumbs up!
